(AHN) - Mysterious actor Johnny Depp is all set to play wicked barber Sweeny Todd in yet another project with director Tim Burton. The twosome has already worked together on six films. The current movie is about a hairdresser who butchers his customers and uses their remains as pie-filling.
A source working on the film says, "No contracts have been signed, but Depp and Burton are close to reaching an agreement."
And another feather in Depp’s hat, he was just voted the most popular star in Hollywood for the second year in a row. The poll, conducted by website IMDB.com (the Internet Movie Database), reveals Depp was searched on their website more than any other star in 2005, beating out the likes of Tom Cruise, Jennifer Aniston, and Angelina Jolie.
